When you gift a Chemo Care Pouf, you’re giving twice. Your purchase donates a handmade care bag—filled with comfort and encouragement—to a patient undergoing treatment at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.

You’ll also receive a card to gift (or mail) to someone special, letting them know a Pouf of Love was donated in their name. It’s two gifts in one—spreading love forward and reminding someone they’re never alone.

Each pouf is a handcrafted bag, lovingly filled with essentials to ease the journey of chemotherapy and radiation patients. But it’s so much more than what’s inside—it’s a hug in a bag, a spark of kindness, and a symbol of solidarity.

 

It All Began with Dawn

The heart of this mission is Dawn McCabe Howarth—a radiant soul, beloved friend, and breast cancer warrior whose strength, generosity, and joy inspired everyone she met. Determined to honor Dawn’s legacy of kindness, her mom Pat McCabe and close friend Amy Heckman created this mission.

What began as a labor of love has grown into a movement of compassion, ensuring that every patient who receives a pouf feels supported, seen, and surrounded by care.
